Plant Care Tips After Shipping
Here are some tips to ensure your plant will thrive in its new home.
Watering
Assess the plant substrate. After traveling, your plant may need a refreshing drink of water. If your substrate is still damp to the touch, check again in 24 hours. From here water your plants on your normal schedule.
Light
Your plants would benefit from a grow light or bright indirect light from a window. Avoid direct sunlight, as your plant will burn.
Humidity
Your plants would thrive in a higher humidity environment. If you’re able to replicate a 60%-70% humidity environment for your plants, they will thank you. Although, you can acclimate your plants to lower humidity. It will take a bit of time and patience.
Repotting
Do not immediately repot your plants, as this can increase stress on your plant. Allow to acclimate to your environment a few weeks before transferring to your preferred potting mix.
